Last week Person went to see another Alfie.

Person has been to see several Alfies lately.

This Alfie is Little Yorkie Alfie.

Little Yorkie Alfie is Very Very Unhappy when his Person goes out without him.

Little Yorkie Alfie has Little Yorkie Sadie to keep him company, but he still Very Very Unhappy when his Person leaves him.

Little Yorkie Alfie HOWLS all the time his Person is away.

Little Yorkie Alfie Watches and Waits and HOWLS by the window.

Sometimes Little Yorkie Alfie is so DISTRESSED that he toilets indoors.

Little Yorkie Sadie may think she should join in and HOWL too.

In a while Alfie will not HOWL any more when his Person goes out without him.

Do you remember Lurcher Alfie I told you about recently?

Lurcher Alfie Cried and Panted and Wrecked his Bed when his Persons went out and left him Home Alone.

Alfie doesn't Cry or Pant any more when he is left Home Alone. (He still likes to Wreck his bed though).

Person says maybe Lurcher Alfie now thinks Wrecking is what a bed is for - especially a bed filled with FLUFF.

A Wrecked Bed with FLUFF makes a Comfy Nest.

Anyway, I'm a Pip, not an Alfie.

To Monty the Mont I am a Pillow.

No More Lampshade

You will remember Alfie the Very Stressed Dog with the Lampshade over his head?

Alfie Spun Round and Round and Round and Round and he bit the end off his Tail.

So the vet made Alfie a smart new shorter tail. Then Alfie bit the end off his tail - again.

So Alfie had to wear the Lampshade - all the time.

The Lampshade went Clatter Clatter as Alfie Spun, banging against things. Clatter Clatter Clatter.

Now there is no more Clatter Clatter Clatter for Alfie.

Alfie has no more Lampshade!

He has a BiteNot Collar instead.

Now Alfie spins Round and Round only Just Sometimes. Alfie is Calming Down. Alfie looks Very Smart.

And he can't bite his tail.

I would need a Very Looooong BiteNot Collar to stop me Biting my Tail.

I have a Very Loooooong Neck.

And I have a Very Very Looooooong Tail.

Anyway, here I am Singing: I Want To Come In.

Person says I could win Popstar Operastar.

Monty the Mont is Yawning.

Valentine Fancy Dress

Here are Jester, Lolepop, Magnum and Tally.

Valentine Fancy Dress Party.

They didn't like the idea of Hearts and Flowers.

So they did St.Valentine's Day Massacre and Chicago Gangsters instead.

That is Jester on the Left.

Valentine? Gangsters?

Doggledigook to me.

I must in future stay awake while Person writes my Blog.

Anyway, it's still Raining.

Monty the Mont is asleep too. Marmite is Asleep too.

Silly Milly is Outside getting WET.

Tail chasing

Alfie is a Lakeland Terrier. Alfie used to have a Long Hairy Tail.

I have a Very Long Thin Tail.

Alfie's Persons RESCUED him.

Alfie just could not stop going Round and Round and Round and Round, trying to Catch his Tail.

Then - he DID catch his Tail.

Oh Dear. Oh Dear.

Alfie bit the end off his Tail.

So now Alfie has a New Short Tail (the vet had to make Alfie's Tail tidy again).

Alfie has to wear a Lampshade until he no longer goes Round and Round and Round and Round.

Alfie's Persons are now teaching Alfie how to Calm Down.

Alfie's Persons are being Quiet for Alfie. Alfie's Persons are being Calm for Alfie.

(Sometimes Persons find it Difficult to be Quiet and Calm with dogs).

Soon Alfie won't need to go Round and Round and Round and Round any longer.

Soon Alfie will have a nice New Short HAIRY Tail.

Soon Alfie will be a Happy Dog.

Person visited Monty last week (no, not Monty the Mont!).

But Monty is a Black Labrador too. Monty is just seven months old.

Person says Monty makes her SMILE.

I make Person SMILE also.

Person went to see a Lurcher - like ME!

He is another Alfie. Lurcher Alfie has a long tail just like mine.

Lurcher Alfie has slanty eyes just like mine.

This is because he has Saluki eyes. Just like me!

Lurcher Alfie gets Very Upset when his Persons go out and leave him Home Alone.

Alfie has to go in his crate because he Creates Damage when he is left Home Alone.

Alfie once got So Upset that he Created Big Damage.

He Wrecked his Bed. He then Wrecked some Sheets.

Already Alfie is no longer Upset when he is left Home Alone for a short time.

Soon he will no longer be Upset when he is left Home Alone for a longer time.

Anyway, I have a Very LONG THIN TAIL.

On Rat Watch

I saw a Big Grey RAT slowly walking along the top of our fence.

I saw one RAT in the Early Morning. I saw another RAT in the Middle of the Day. I saw a RAT when it was getting Dark.

I BARK at RATS.

I am on RAT WATCH.

Marmite caught a RAT in our Field. All by herself.

Another day she caught Another RAT.

(Marmite can move Fast when she really wants to).

When RATS are Dead Marmite doesn't want them any more.

I don't like Dead RATS. You can't Chase Dead RATS.

Person says RATS spread DISEASE. She doesn't want Marmite to Catch RATS. She doesn't want Marmite to Catch DISEASE.

Person wouldn't want ME to Catch DISEASE either. Or Monty the Mont, or Milly.

So she is getting a Humane Rat Trap.

She will put Bacon or Kipper in the Humane Rat Trap. Because Bacon and Kipper are Very SMELLY.

The Humane Rat Trap will catch Whole FAMILIES of Rats because it's very Humane to feed RATS on Very SMELLY Bacon and Kipper.

Then Person will take them somewhere safe, to a field a Long Way Away.

Then she will open the cage and LET THEM GO.

Anyway, I hope Person will be Humane to me too. I like Very SMELLY Bacon and Kipper.

But Person I wouldn't Person to take ME to a field a Long Way Away and LET ME GO.

Broken Leg

Last week Person went to see Amy and Alfie.

They are Rough Haired Collies.

Amy is only 11 weeks old. Amy doesn't have Rough Hair. Amy has Soft Fluffy Hair.

Amy also has a Broken Leg.

Amy's Broken Leg is in a long Pink Bandage.

Amy can't run. Amy must not Play with Alfie.

Amy has to spend a Long Time in her Crate or Puppy Pen. This is to keep her leg safe.

Amy is a Very Good Girl because she doesn't Chew the long Pink Bandage.

Anyway, I have Short Wiry Hair.

Person says to me How can so much Hair fall out of you Pip.

She has got a Special Comb called a Furminator. She has to be very careful because my skin is Near the Top.

Here is a Picture of Denny who Person went to see a while ago. Denny is a Lurcher a bit like ME.

Del knows he is Very Important too, like me.

Lulu

Person went to see Sweetie Pie Lulu yesterday.

Without ME.

Lovely Lottie and Lulu SLEEP.Anyway, I am now in my New High Place. I am IMPORTANT.

It is nine o'clock in the Morning.

Silly Milly is in the field Sniffing for Little Animals.

Marmite is Asleep Again. Monty the Mont is Asleep Again. Marmite is Snoring.

Marmite and Monty the Mont were both Asleep all Night.

Marmite and Monty the Mont were both Asleep much of Yesterday Evening too.

Not ME. I am usually Doing Stuff in the Evening. Doing Stuff with Milly.

Yesterday I helped her to Chew Up the Sponge Person uses for washing dishes.
